About

The Designer

Miriam Ennin is a bridal and evening wear designer, poet, and voice-over narrator based in the NYC area. She attended Kent State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design with a minor in Women’s Studies.

For her first love, fashion, her work is distinctly recognized for her skills in fabric manipulations, hand beading, and an overall attention to detail. She often utilizes different aspects of nature, such as florals, fire, and even, onions, as symbolism for a greater message in each of her garments. This same use of symbolism can be found in her poetry and voice work as she draws her inspiration from personal experiences, human psychology, and her Ghanaian culture.

Miriam combines all of her talents in her most recent work with her visual diary project, titled  “D E A R  S E L F:  A Visual Diary,” which showcases her skill of turning concepts into intricate details. Miriam’s work has been featured in fashion and beauty magazines such as Selin, Vigour, and PhotoVogue.
